In an effort to improve productivity, as well as safety, Les Ruefenacht, President of Heusser Neweigh, evaluated a process involving the calibration of weights in the range of 500 to 1,200 pounds. Having performed this task with a hand driven fork lift for many years, Mr. Ruefenacht saw the need for improvement.
